Introduction to the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) – Component-1 of IFRAP

The Project Implementation Unit (PIU) for Component-1 of IFRAP (Infrastructure and Flood Resilience Adaptation Project) is a government initiative aimed at enhancing the infrastructure and flood resilience of regions vulnerable to environmental challenges. 3. M&E Specialist (01 Position)

Master’s (16 years of education) in Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
At least 7 years in community infrastructure/development and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E).
Eligibility:
- Experience in designing M&E plans, using M&E tools, and mobile-based data collection.
- Understanding of Results Framework and Remote Monitoring systems.

4. Environmental Safeguards Specialist (01 Position)

Education:
Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Natural Resource Management, or Environmental Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 7 years in public/private sector in environmental/social safeguards and impact assessments.
Eligibility:
- Familiarity with donor-funded projects and working in Balochistan or similar regions.

5. Social Safeguards Specialist (01 Position)

Education:
Master’s / Bachelor’s (16 years) in Sociology, Rural Development, Social Sciences, or relevant field.
Experience:
Minimum 7 years in community-driven development and working with social safeguards.
Eligibility:
- Knowledge of international social safeguard frameworks including resettlement and inclusion policies.

6. Gender Specialist (01 Position)

Education:
Master’s / Bachelor’s (16 years) in Gender Studies, Sociology, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 7 years in gender mainstreaming, women’s empowerment, and gender analysis in development projects.
Eligibility:
- Preferably with experience in community development and international best practices in gender equality.
