In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professional(s) for the following positions in the area of Operations based in Karachi.

The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following positions:


01. Position / Job Title

Unit Head – RDA Remittance Settlement (AVP / VP)

Reporting to:
Wing Head – RDA Operations

Educational / Professional Qualification

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international University / College / Institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan.
  • Candidates having a Master’s degree or any professional degree will be preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 06 years of banking experience, out of which 03 years in the supervisory role of Foreign Exchange Remittances, preferably of Roshan Digital Accounts.

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required

  • Strong knowledge of relevant SBP regulations.
  • Sound knowledge of SWIFT system and SWIFT messaging.
  • Understanding of processing cycle of Foreign Centralized Remittances, including NOSTRO / VOSTRO payments.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of ITRS / AML / CFT and relevant SBP policies.

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • Guide branch staff regarding submission of required documents according to SBP Foreign Exchange Manual, RDA Regulations and AML/CFT guidelines.
  • Ensure completeness and correctness of daily BAU of all RDA remittances.
  • Handle all RDA-related remittance enquiries.
  • Coordinate with different units for timely responses.
  • Refer discrepant cases to stakeholders and follow up after rectification.
  • Monitor outstanding transactions and ensure timely closure.
  • Train team members on SBP RDA Regulations and AML/CFT policy.
  • Monitor complaints related to RDA remittances.
  • Address internal and external audit observations.
  • Prepare BRD and CR and coordinate with IT Group for system-related issues.
  • Coordinate with SBP for clarification of RDA cases.
  • Ensure timely submission of RDA regulatory reporting.
  • Perform any other assignment assigned by the supervisor(s).

02. Position / Job Title

Unit Head – RDA Investments Settlement (AVP / VP)

Reporting to:
Wing Head – RDA Operations

Educational / Professional Qualification

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international University / College / Institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan.
  • Candidates having a Master’s degree or any professional degree will be preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 06 years of banking experience in Treasury Operations and/or Payment Services.
  • Preference will be given to candidates having hands-on experience in settlement of RDA products.

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required

  • Adequate understanding of treasury products and business acumen.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of treasury settlements / remittances.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Hands-on experience in Core Banking & Treasury Applications.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good business communication and analytical skills.

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • Supervise end-to-end settlement of Government Securities & Equity Trades.
  • Manage settlement of Naya Pakistan Certificates (subscription, encashments, maturities and profit distribution).
  • Monitor execution of SBP Auctions, OMOs, SBP discounting and floor lending.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of Treasury positions, Securities, Nostro Accounts and Settlement balances.
  • Review and analyze MIS reports for stakeholders and regulators.
  • Ensure timely escalation of settlement delays and system issues.
  • Assist during audits, inspections and walkthroughs.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend automation/process improvements.
  • Analyze training needs and assist team learning.
  • Perform any other assignment assigned by the supervisor(s).

Assessment Interview(s)

Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interview(s).

Employment Type

The employment will be on a contractual basis for three years, which may be renewed at the discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered a compensation package and other benefits as per the Bank’s policy/rules.
