University of Okara was established under Government of the Punjab Act, 2016 (XIII of 2016). Currently, there are more than 16,000 students and more than 400 faculty/staff members. University of Okara is one of the most progressive and dynamic institutions of higher learning. It is situated on 204 acres of land sandwiched between Multan Road and Canal Lower Bari Doo Aab at Renala Khurd, District Okara.
In order to expand its teaching and research operations, the University is seeking highly qualified and exceptionally motivated professionals who could enrich and strengthen academic life of the campus. Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following teaching positions. The University of Okara encourages women, disabled persons, and minorities to apply.

Eligibility Criteria
As prescribed by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the University of Okara Employees (Appointment, Terms and Conditions of Service) Statutes, 2021.
Note:
Those who have already applied for the position of Professor of Education (BS-21) vide Advertisement No. 04/2026 do not need to apply again.
Important Instructions & Terms and Conditions
- Download the application form from www.uo.edu.pk.
- Submit applications complete in all respects along with the original bank draft/deposit slip by 20-08-2026.
- Read all instructions and terms & conditions available on the University website before applying.
- Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous body employees must apply through proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- If a screening test is held, all eligible candidates must appear.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
- Application processing fee:
- Rs. 4,000/- (for BS-21 or equivalent posts)
- Payable through Bank Draft in favor of Treasurer, University of Okara, Renala Khurd, or deposited in HBL Account No. 01527913908901.
- Applicants for Professor posts must submit four (04) complete sets of applications/dossiers in the prescribed format.
- Applications must reach the Office of the Registrar on or before 20-08-2026 during office hours.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for Test/Interview.
- Age relaxation will be granted according to Government policy.
- Applicable Government quotas will be observed.
- The University reserves the right to withdraw any post or advertisement or reject any/all applications without assigning any reason.
- The University may increase or decrease the number of posts as required.
- The University reserves the right to enforce relevant service rules and appointment policies.
Interview & Call-Up Letter
- Call letters and information regarding the Test/Interview will be sent only to shortlisted candidates through registered post/email.
- The University is not responsible if call letters/emails are delayed or not received due to postal or communication issues.
